Welcome to LetsBeHealthy, a mobile app designed to help you track steps, meditate, connect with friends, and earn rewards ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you confirm you are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If acting for an organization, you warrant you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms to reflect updates to the App, legal requirements, or operational changes. Significant updates will be communicated via in-app notifications or email. Your continued use of the App after such changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Description of Service

LetsBeHealthy offers:

  • Step tracking via Apple HealthKit with daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

  • Meditation sessions to earn StepCoins (10–30 per day).

  • Social features like friend requests, chats, and referral codes (e.g., 500 StepCoins per referral).

  • Analytics and progress tracking. The App relies on Firebase for authentication, Firestore for data storage, and push notifications, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

User Accounts

  • Registration: You must create an account for full access. Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.

  • Security: You’re responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activities under your account.

  • Deletion: Delete your account anytime via Settings. Data will be removed from our servers within 30 days, subject to legal obligations and backup policies.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App illegally or for unauthorized purposes.

  • Harass, bully, or harm other users.

  • Hack, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the App or its systems.

  • Share harmful content (e.g., malware, viruses). We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, content, and features (e.g., ProgressRingView, StepCoins system), is owned by Bhagavan Kumar Vangaveeti and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without our written permission.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with:

  • Firebase (Google) for authentication, storage, and notifications.

  • Apple HealthKit for step data.

  • Google Mobile Ads for advertisements. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which you agree to follow. We’re not liable for third-party actions or content.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, LetsBeHealthy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, data loss) from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is," with no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless LetsBeHealthy, its affiliates, and team from claims, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of others’ rights.

Termination

We may end or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason (e.g., Terms violation). Upon termination, your rights to use the App cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction, e.g., California, USA], excluding conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

Entire Agreement
